Our sister charity in Russia, Podari Zhizn, managed to convince a global transportation company DHL to restart deliveries of medications for kids. Previously DHL suspended operations in Russia. DHL managers realized the importance of the issue and decided to make an exception for Podari Zhizn operations. Any purchases we make – whether it is an unregistered medication, or medical equipment, or the materials for a bone marrow donor search, all these deliveries are exclusive and urgent humanitarian supplies. Regardless the complexity of international relations such deliveries cannot stop. DHL Germany has very carefully studied the list of drugs that “Podari Zhizn” orders for its wards, checked suppliers, and conducted due diligence of the foundation itself, deciding to resume deliveries starting in April. DHL resumed its services to Podari Zhizn and since May 2022 Podari.Life routinely pays for new batches of medications for patients in Russia.
Meanwhile, June 1st is a day of Podari.Life’s anniversary, and unexpectedly we have received a present. Several famous Russian artists donated their digital drawings they had drew when painters were kids. This unique collection will be auctioned very soon. All proceedings will benefit Podari.Life.
