Dmitry Artamonov is a 16-years old aspiring computer programmer from Kovrov (Vladimir region). Dmitry is fighting cancer since spring 2019, when he was diagnosed with an Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He noticed a growing bump on the back of his head, and unusual continuous fevers. As Dmitry recollects, he then only knew about cancer from movies – “When someone is told he or she has a cancer, they feel it like a death sentence”. But his cousin who is a cancer survivor herself, assured him that childhood cancer is treatable. When admitted to Dima Rogachev Center, he was relieved: chances of victory over cancer are much higher here.

Dima undergoes a complex and lengthy treatment – doctors not only want to avert his current tumors, but to prevent a return of an aggressive and dangerous illness. After bone marrow transplant, Dima Artamonov has multiple complications that need to be treated. Chemotherapy and transplant surgery drowned Dima’s immunity to viruses – for more than 3 months he cannot leave hospital rooms, cannot see natural light and breath open air. To complete the treatment and defy complications, Dmitry needs a course of Foscavir – essential anti-bacterial and anti-viral medication that cost close to 12 thousand dollars.

Podari Zhizn supporters have already raised more than $47 thousand for previous treatment, and thanks to you we are ready to pay for a course of Foscavir (around $12 thousand USD)

There are two other kids who need a this type of treatment right now, so the bill for Foscavir in February 2020 is around $30 thousand USD.

Thanks to your support we are able to pay these bills.
