HELPING DOCTORS
If more doctors are better informed, trained and supported, the childhood cancer survival rate in Russia could be much higher. We want to narrow the gap between US and Russia capacity to fight childhood cancer. We raise money for clinical information subscription for Russian hospitals, sponsored internships and observerships at US hospitals, participation in international conferences and other kinds of informational exchanges.

SUPPORTING PATIENTS
Fighting cancer is not just about meds or surgery. Especially if you are a kid who wants to understand what's going with you on and have some fun despite everything. Cancer survivors need a lot of help and support. Social and psychological adaption after months spent in hospital is a key ingredient in a child's battle to beat cancer. We raise money for different programs that help kids to cope with their illness and feel better during treatment and rehab.

We are still losing the war against childhood cancer. The average age when a child is diagnosed with cancer is 6. Worldwide, a child is diagnosed with cancer every 3 minutes.
Survival rates have improved greatly, but they vary by country depending on healthcare, education and economic factors. We don't yet know how to prevent childhood cancer.
We must find a way to help children to live a long and happy life. We may have to wait for a cure for cancer and support scientific research, but meanwhile there are children in Russia who need better treatment right now.
We want to share what we know with people in Russia who may not have adequate access to information. Scientific news to treatment protocols, statistics and guidelines about everyday patient support. We want to build bridges between doctors in the US and Russia and share resorces. and we want to build bridges between children, who happen to have the same illness and live on the same planet but are divided by geographical borders.
